Aba

Powell led the architecture and construction of Aba Nashville, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the Gulch that redefines dining in Music City. In collaboration with Director of Interior Design Avril Zayas and Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs, Powell delivered an 8,700-square-foot indoor dining space and 2,800-square-foot outdoor patio, designed to capture the spirit of summer along the coasts of Spain, Greece, and Morocco.

The restaurant seats 302 guests, with a dedicated 28-seat bar that anchors the lively atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials, airy textures, and warm architectural details, Powell crafted an environment that is both elevated and inviting, balancing hospitality with design excellence.

With its integrated design-build approach, Powell ensured Aba Nashville is not only a premier culinary destination but also a hospitality landmark. The project embodies the Mediterranean lifestyle, showcasing how architecture, interiors, and craftsmanship converge to create a truly unforgettable experience.
